On line check in & Sea Sail pass

Hi

do i need to have my travel insurance details entered onto the on line check in before i print the sea sail pass?, it says its ready for printing but i dont have the travel insurance sorted yet? can i print them before i get insurance or should i wait and have insurance and enter it before i print?

I don't know what the EU rules are for travel insurance, but we have always had to declare our insurance before we can proceed with our booking, which ever line we've used in Europe. I don't think you can go further with the procedure without filling in this statement.

If you haven't bought your insurance yet, be careful because it will cover you if you have to miss the cruise because of an accident, bereavement etc....we try to get ours as soon as we've booked, and had to use it a few weeks before we were due to go, because of an accident. We were covered OK.

If you haven't got your EHIC yet, then that is also vital as it will cover you for treatment in the EU. ;)
