Is it possible to drop off bags at the curb and wife will watch them while I park the car so we don't have to walk so far carrying our luggage...

It is possible. I did that a couple of years ago when I dropped off DW with bags and then returned an Enterprise rental car at their old location near the pier. Directions may not be that clear.

Easy. Just have the bags tagged and the porters will take them practically as soon as you open the trunk. Have a few $$ on hand. Then, there are benches outside the door where your wife can wait for you. The luggage will be long gone. Of course, you could have her sit with the luggage but it's just as easy for the porters to take them right away.

San Pedro is one of the easiest places to do that -- the porters are really helpful!
