Live entertainment on the Sun?

I swear I looked but couldn't find an answer...:)

 

Are there any bands playing live music in any of the bars, lounges etc. on the Sun. My wife and I are big music fans and love to sit and listen to live bands play (we are both musicians and did the circuit many years ago!). Anything from Jazz trios to 80's cover bands, you name it. Just not into the whole DJ Dance club thing...

I also assume they have a Karaoke bar.

 

We'll be on an Alaskan cruise if that makes any difference. Thanks!

Yes - there is always a couple of live bands playing in the evening in a couple of places on board, plus a "piano bar" with singing. Just check the Freestyle Daily on on board, it will be listed there so that you can plan your evening. :)

 

I believe they have karaoke as well, but the quality of that varies from ship to ship - and from passengers to passengers... ;)

There are multiple venues with live music, some game shows too

 

The windjammer piano bar alternated between a guy on the piano that sang, a guy on a guitar that sang and a duo.

 

Dazzles ranged from karaoke, game shows and a live band every evening

 

The large bar at the bow on top deck alternated between a live band with brass instruments and a duo

 

And there was often live music on deck from some of the above.
