McNomads4 Posted March 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Does anybody know if they actually weigh people before they let you ride these? I'm thinking that two people might be a bit over the 400lb limit they list.

Griff4AU Posted March 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2014 I assume that's a Princess Excursion? You might be better off asking this in the Cozumel section of the forum as you'll get the visitors from all cruise lines that visit Cozumel (Carnival and RCCL send a lot of ships there).... Dudleydog73 Posted March 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2014 We should have been able to tell you as Cozumel was a port we actually got to on our cruise to nowhere in November, but the weather was so abysmal just about all port excursions were cancelled so we never made it past handing in our tickets, waiting for additional passengers in the shops, then getting our tickets handed back to us at the appointed time letting us know they cancelled on us. giselleacttwo Posted March 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2014 Typically, when a vendor sets a weight limit for an excursion it is for the safety or comfort of their passengers. I wouldn't want to bypass that safety even if I *could*.
carefreebee Posted March 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 26, 2014 We didn't see any weighing happening when we did this excursion earlier this month. I will say, the little coops can be somewhat of a struggle to get in if you're big/tall or have knee/hip issues. But still a fun ride! wb2868 Posted March 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 26, 2014 I am guessing they are the same type of coupes we did in St. Maarten. No weighing but me and my DH were over the 400 lbs. We did just fine as he listened to the guide and would stay on the gas going up hills - those that didn't and were overweight sometimes had some difficulty. They were a lot of fun and gave you a different perspective than just riding on a bus! Enjoy!
