  1. This may be up for debate honestly. On another board it seems that Royal Caribbean sailing out of Galveston allows the use of a beverage package while in Texas waters and does not charge guests while in port using these packages. Princess seems to be the one restricting use of the packages, which I witnessed on the Regal last November. Again, this was coming from multiple people that stated their experiences on RC which I have not personally experienced. Why the difference between lines? I can only speculate.
  2. ... Which is what I was describing for MY company who sends ALL traffic when the VPN is connected to their routers, hence no split tunneling. I certainly know what split tunneling does, and am trying to keep it easy to understand for the concept. All good. move along.
  3. I would ask your IT department if you are allowed split tunneling once you are connected to your corporate VPN and see what they say. Nobody here or on the ship would be able to know that answer.
  4. There are a number of things that may be going on. Some companies, like mine, do not allow what is called split tunneling when connected to the VPN. This sends all internet trafic through the VPN connection to your work servers / routers. If that policy is in place, it will disconnect the connection to the ships onsite billing server that monitors the use of your wifi package and Princess will terminate the VPN connection due to the loss of that connection. If you do not have to worry about that policy at your work, VPN should work just fine.
  5. Unfortunately the normal email route is hit or miss now. You still need to deal with either the app or stockperks via email. The app is not that difficult to navigate and they accepted a highly redacted one page upload of my CCL holdings.
  6. On the app, add their booking number under Travel Companions, and you will then have the ability to add them to your table in Dine My Way.
  7. What is the current pricing for the enclave?
  8. I had no issue with them accepting my one page highly redacted page from my brokerage statement and am validated on the app. I cannot do anything yet though as my next cruise is in November 2024 which they arent working on yet.
  9. All they have from me is one page that was redacted using my PDF Expert program saved to a pdf file. If they dont like it I will go the route you stated, but as far as I know there is no way to unredact what I sent. I guess time will tell.
  10. Can confirm I just got the redirect to stockperks after I sent the normal email to sbpcl@princesscruises.com. I downloaded the app and created my account and sent in a one page redacted statement of just my physical stocks using the Fidelity option and they say they will get back to me within two days. Also seems they are only allowing cruises through July 2024 to be done at this time, which is funny as I have my July 2025 cruise already applied after using the old email process. I will have to deal with this next year sometime for my newly booked November 2024 cruise it seems.
  11. Just hope Princess never strays into RCI territory where a GTY isn't really a GTY... I like to always choose my room. This happened after people arrived at the port recently
  12. We were on the November 5th sailing and embarkation was a breeze. I think we were on the ship around 11:30am being one of the first in line and bags arrived in our cabin before we went to the dining room for lunch. Disembarkation on the other hand was an absolute s*** show. We had an 8:50am disembarkation group with a 10:00am private shuttle scheduled for HOU. We left our cabin around 8am and went to the Vista lounge where the Elite/Platinum lounge was. They came on multiple times stating that immigration lines were backed up and that they were halting people leaving the ship and to just "hang out" in the lounge. Fast forward an hour later and we were just now moving off the ship. We quickly found out that our Global Entry cards meant nothing at this port and between the long diverging lines which we chose poorly, we found ourselves literally at the end of the queue. The staff managing the CBP queues did not have any rhyme or reason for who they allowed into the lines and we ended up outside the terminal at 11:30am. Luckily the shuttle company had another one that they got us on as our original 10am shuttle was long gone. Word to the wise in Galveston, do not try for any morning flights when making plans.
  13. That is a shame. So what was Sur la Mer or whatever is now sabatinis? That is a horribly thought out location with the foot traffic. Sabatinis was always one of our favorite SD restaurants. Heck, the pasta kitchen fish bowl that was in sabatinis was right at the entrance. Is that still a pasta kitchen or what did they do with it?
  14. The Catch now eh? We were on the transatlantic in March and it was Sabatinis that they serenaded us through to get to the back 360 room. I agree 360 was a fantastic experience. I do have a few pictures of the food on my phone I can try to post here later.
  15. The International Cafe serves food that is complimentary and the coffee shop attached would also be complimentary if you have the plus package. Any coffee you get there takes one of your 15 drinks for the day from my experience.
  16. Can confirm that Enchanted has kettles that they usually handout while in Europe. We had one on our Eastbound TA in March. Not sure how many they have while not in Europe but all you need to do is ask your steward.
  17. They dont call them Patters anynore, and the new name escapes me currently. If my wife saved any of them I will scan them in and post. They were not super substantial on this cruise... maybe one page front and back.
  18. Lol, we tried the eastbound as our dates lined up, but never again unless the cruise is super cheap.
  19. Our group of 5 were part of the 1900 that debarked on the 23rd. Overall this was a fantastic cruise and arguably one of the best due to things that transpired due to relationships we had with some higher level crew that we did not know would be on Enchanted until a day or two before we boarded. 360 anyone? That experience alone was super memorable. As for the internet, yes, that was a huge cluster and it appeared that those that made the trek to guest services was awarded $60 OBC as a good will gesture for those with the plus or premiere packages. I was a little annoyed that they seemed to only be adding this OBC for those that complained, as they surely knew who had the packages. This was not our first TA, but was our first eastbound. It will most probably be our last eastbound as well. There were way too many 23 hour days that screwed with your internal clocks. I would much rather have the westbound 25 hour days as they are much more pleasant, and the fact that the end of the cruise on the westbound is all sea days to decompress makes it much more relaxing. Having nonstop port days at the end of the eastbound was definitely not relaxing in any stretch of the definition. We were also in mini suites on the Caribe deck center of ship. Was a fantastic location that I would not hesitate to do again.
  20. I will be on the Enchanted on Thursday and can give it a look if nobody chimes in before then. For these cabins, do you not have issues with noise from Club Fusion directly below you? Always have been curious but never booked due to that potential issue.
  21. That makes sense. If you are on the Caribbean Princess now you can literally look over your railing and down at the Caribe deck. It is the one sticking out below you. Dolphin mini suites are the fully uncovered below those. As stated you still have a covering for you if you want to take advantage of it on Caribe on that ship.
  22. That begs the question then. What ship are you inquiring about? I had assumed Carribbean. Not all Caribe decks on every ship are larger and half covered. That stopped for the Royal class ships which are fully covered and tiny like most of the non bump out balconies.
