What do I need to know to send a present?

One of my friends is getting married and booked a cruise for their honeymoon. I wanted to send them something from the fun shops, like flowers, cake, or whatever. Problem is, I don't know their room/booking number.

 

Can I call them and still have them find the room if all I know is the ship, sail date, and their names? has anyone done this before? or would you have to be on the exact cruise to send a gift to someone else on the boat?

Sure just call bon voyage and you can gift anything. You only need their name. I have done this several times, almost every cruise. Don't need booking number.

You can also order from the fun shops at Carnival.com you will need full names and sail dates. I have also done this several times. It makes a nice wedding gift.

Awesome. Will the orders be anonymous or will there be a paper accompanying the order saying who bought it for them?

It doesn't have your name unless you put it on the card.

Name, sailing date and ship will work. I have sent gifts to my parents before. I know you might want it to be a surprise, but I always let my parents know a few days before sailing. I have heard of folks not getting their gift and if you let them know to expect something they inquire on board if it doesn't arrive. But that is up to you....good luck!
