absolutonrox Posted March 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2014 So I'm onboard Grandeur for my first ever cruise. I was going to order some room service and realized I had NO idea how much to tip them. I know the items are included but it's courtesy to tip since they aren't included in my prepaid gratuities. What's a good amount? $1 for just like a drink and maybe a snack, $5 if it's lunch for the wife and I? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks! If you're getting just coffee, then I'd tip just $1. If you're getting an entire meal, I tip $3. With the automatic gratuities being added to your seapass everyday, room service delivery may be covered. I hear the gratuities are split up among all staff now...from WJ on down to the laundry workers. You should ask at Guest Services if the room service waiter is included in the automatic gratuities. WetToes Posted March 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2014 We usually only order RS for coffee in the morning. We tip $2.00. Hope you have a great time. :)
