NCL GetaWay Minisuite vs Balcony? Floor 14

Hi,

 

Has anyone stayed on floor 14? Is it noisy with the pool above?

 

Also - anyone have an opinion on if the cost to upgrade to a Mini-suite is worth it over a mid-ship balcony? (circa $400) Besides the bathroom - does the mini-suite cabin space feel bigger?

 

Does anyone have suggestions on balcony or mini-suite cabin numbers that are a preferred location or perhaps slightly larger?:)

We will be sailing with our 2 teen girls. Would the extra space be worth it? It is $400 more. What is upgraded about the bathroom?

Bathroom is much larger in size. It has a larger shower with multi sprays and a rainfall showerhead ( I think that is what they call it) also has a double sink with a large trough basin. More room to maneuver if more than one person is in the bathroom at one time. Most of the extra footage is in the bathroom. The rest of the cabin is pretty much the same, maybe slightly bigger in the entrance way.

We had a mini on Getaway and folks had balcony.

 

Being a family of 4 the extra bathroom space was worth it for sure. But if you would never ever had more than 1 person in the bathroom then its a luxury.

 

I could not tell much difference in the rest of the room ours was a little bit bigger but not much.

 

Our shower was HUGE and great.
