Babysitting services

Anyone ever use them on the Gem? Do you recommend? I get way too nervous over these things! Can someone give me the pros and cons? I will have a 10 yr old and a 3 yr old.

Babysitting services are provided as group sessions in the kids club. There are no private sitting services available. If you are comfortable sending your kids to the club, this is no different. We don't stay out late, so we don't often use the group sitting. We have left the children onboard for fee based port play when they didn't want to get off the ship one day. That made me very nervous, but my kids had a great day.

The group " babysitting" is from 10:30pm-1:30am. I think the fee is $6/child.

 

My kids love Splash Academy but have never stayed up late enough for the after hours service.

We use the after hours sitting in the kids club every cruise with our little one. (We use it for the white hot party night every cruise) She loves it. It's just like any other day and going to the kids club. They have activities planned for them, story time, games, open gym and so on. They will usually have bean bags or whatever for them to fall asleep on if they are tired. Wonderful service. :)
