Clip N Zip - required to book through Carnival?

We are on the Carnival Conquest later this month and my 9 y/o wants to go zip lining. I know that Clip N Zip is located near where we dock, but can I just walk up and pay then or am I required to book the excursion through Carnival?

I know at one time you could just walk up and stand in line . But since CnZ were picked up by the MBCC and cruise ships started offering excursions there, I'm not sure. Maybe someone who's been there in the past 6 months will know.
