Entertainment book and Water St. Cafe - Vancouver

Recommended Posts

The Entertainment books are on sale today. 2 for $25.

Was thinking of dining at Water Street Cafe and doing the Vancouver lookout. Are these two places worthwhile?

If you have a couple of days, the lookout is definitely worthwhile: unless the weather is being very uncooperative you'll see a lot. In cruise season our weather is rarely rainy for days on end - we've had some ridiculously long dry spells the last couple of summers actually - but if you're in town for just one day there's a small chance you might see only diddly and squat rather than mountains and sea.

WSC looks quite pretty inside - it's been used for restaurant scenes in TV/movies - and the food's fine. My only beef with them is they're poor food bang-for-your-buck value compared to other places - but a voucher (I assume one free entree when buy another?) makes that a non-issue.

Assuming you actually use your second book too, at $12.50 you'll have to try pretty hard NOT to feel you saved money on the coupon book for Vancouver...
