You've probably cruised with Brad McKee

If you've been on a Carnival cruise there's a good chance you cruised with Brad McKee. It has been reported that he passed yesterday of natural causes. He was a great character, loved the ladies and had the most consumate passion for cruising. I've had the priveledge of being on 2 cruises with him. Many people will remember great stories of his antics. He will be missed.

Was he that older gentleman, beard, with tons of ship pins all over his jacket (s) and hat (s)? Always smiling?

 

Sad to hear of his passing.

I think he was 50ish. Always had a tropical shirt and a hat. Often it was a white Stetson. Most pitures of him were with a lady on each side kissing his cheek. He was a fun guy. I don't recall pics of him with pins on a jacket though.

Nope, I'm thinking of a different guy. Don't think I've ever met the gentleman you described. Still I wish him "fair winds and following seas" as he cruises on that big ship in the sky.

His Cruise Critic handle was "buggystuff". Here is the picture attached to his name.

He was on the last cruise I went on in January. I never got to meet him, but he was very active on our roll call page, and set up the meet and greet.

Theres lots on Facebook. Lots of memories and tributes. He sure was a loved man with friends all over the world. His sister posted that he was found in his home on Tuesday.
