mykekid Posted April 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2014 Has anyone had any experience with places that aren't so touristy? Specifically local bars, pubs, or restaurants?

navybankerteacher Posted April 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2014 If you want to celebrate a special occasion in Bermuda with a great dinner, try Tom Moore's Tavern - in business for over a hundred years, in a beautiful old house - fine food, tremendous atmosphere, but quite costly. There are lots of fun places to eat: the Hog Penny in Hamilton, the White Horse in St. George's, the Swizzle Inn almost to St. George's to name a few - but Tom Moore's is really special: maybe for an anniversary or a surprise wedding proposal: a one-of-a-kind restauran.
