Gulf of Mexico Sea Conditions Currently

Flying out for the Freedom tomorrow!

 

I'm writing this thread to ask anyone who went on a cruise in the past couple of weeks who passed though the Gulf of Mexico recently to explain the seas

 

We have had terrible seas the past couple of cruises in November so we moved our annual cruise to Easter Break instead of Thanksgiving Break.

Hopefully the seas are good because I would really hate to have bad seas. It really destroys sea days.

I don't actually leave till next week, however, we always cruise this time of year and have always had beautiful weather and seas. Now that I admit that, hopefully it will stay true. Have a great trip!

I rode a smaller boat at work yesterday (offshore work) and seas were a bit rough. But I can't imagine it being bad on a much larger cruise ship. This was a small cargo boat. Hope the seas are calm! We leave on the Magic on the 27th!!

It can vary. We had rough seas on our first sea day from Tampa towards Cozumel about 4 weeks ago. Our last sea day back the water was smooth as glass.
