gotatravel Posted April 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2014 Planning a helicopter/dog sled for Juneau. At Denali there is an excursion to visit the sled dogs and the champion's home. Would we be hearing the same thing at both excursions? Is it worth doing both?
Budget Queen Posted April 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2014 They aren't similar in that the Husky Homestead will be based on Jeff King's dogs, and his Iditarod experiences. It is kind of high cost, but gets consistent good reviews. It's up to YOU, if this is of interest? Glacier Dog sledding is more about the ride, 2 in the baskets, 1 on the breaks. Alternatively, the Sled Dog Headquarters in Wasilla is well worth the time, if of interest. The Denali Park Sled dog demo, may be as well?
