BostonBoatBoy Posted April 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2014 We will be docked at King's Wharf, Dockyard during the first week of June on the Celebrity Summit. Besides Snorkel Park is it possible to walk to any other beach? If yes, approximately how far is it? and is the walk safe from a pedestrian stand point? Appreciate any information. Thanks
SailBadtheSinner Posted April 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2014 The next closest beach that is in walking distance would be Black Bay Beach, but it lacks the facilities you would find at Snorkel Park. The next beach with full facilities would be Horseshoe Bay Beach which is about a 35 minute bus ride from the Dockyard. SBtS
t_car Posted April 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2014 All the best beaches in Bermuda are accessible by public transit (bus) and inexpensive. #7 bus from the dockyards takes you directly to the most popular ones - Horseshoe Bay, Warwick Long Bay, Elbow Bay. Way to far to walk. You could rent bicycles if you want that much exercise.

We have been to Horsehoe so many times and really would like something different but want the rentals. We don't mind the travel time if it is worth it. What else could I be looking for? We are a family of 6, youngest being 16? Thank you.
