Can anyone share information about bingo prices and jackpot amounts? Is it true they give away a cruise?

I've heard bingo is quite expensive and I'm trying to decide if I should budget for a few games or just spend that amount on alcohol instead ;)

I want to say it's $20 or $25 for 3 cards, and usually 3 games.

Yes, one of the games you have the option of a free cruise, or the cash.

I have yet to win.:mad::mad:

Not sure if it's changed yet, but John Heald did say the price would be going DOWN:eek: and they would be changing from the push tab type cards, to possibly blotters.

Again, not sure if this has happened yet.

Maybe someone who has cruised recently can answer that.

Either way, I am playing in July!!!:D:D:D

If the price is lowered and they switch to blotters. I'm in. I have a lucky blotter I'd like to try out overseas. It's won 1200$ this far and counting I hope!

While on the Spirit my hubby was walking across the room to get our cards. At the end of the row was a lady who told us her child worked Onboard. My hubby stepped back to let her in front of him--- guess who won $1200. She did. Oh well. I once won $ 200 on the victory.

  • 3 weeks later...

My husband and I have each won several times over all our cruises. Last cruise on the Imagination, he won $500 (or could have taken the free cruise)! :)

My luckiest cruise was our honeymoon on HAL when I won 3 different times! I've often had to split the jackpot, so sometimes it's not very much money that you win, but it's still fun to play!

We always include bingo as part of our budget because we enjoy it, though we don't play in 'real' life.

Bingo has changed quite a lot over the years. The triple card has gone up to $25, the jackpot amounts are lower, but the one thing that hasn't changed is that they NEVER get started on time.

I don't understand why they can't start selling cards at the entrance to the theater at least 30 minutes before the game is suppose to start.

Back in 2001 while on the Carnival Holiday the free cruise game was done on the morning of debarkation. Back then everyone had to leave their luggage out for the porters the last night and then the next morning assemble in the theater to debark the ship.

After everyone was there they had a single Blackout Bingo game. The prize was a free cruise for two in a cat 12 suite. MY SISTER WON!!!!!!!!!

That's what really fueled our cruise addiction. We took our free cruise on the Inspiration and totally fell in love with cruising. Over the years we've won small amounts of money on Bingo $50 - $200, but in the past 3 or 4 years we haven't been playing at all.

Our cash is being donated in the casino.........:p

Edit to Add: That free cruise counted for both of us in making Platinum, but when they switched over to VIFP days cruised it didn't count on Donna's history because it was a non-revenue cruise but it did count for me.........so I made Diamond one cruise before she did.
