erocrobro Posted April 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2014 I have searched Carnival's website and found prices for sending laundry out, but I cannot find any information on laundry rooms? I can't find them on the deck plans, are they available? On which decks are they located? Are there vending machines for detergent or should I bring my own? How much does it cost to run a load of laundry and do I need to bring change or can it be charged to my card? I'm not wanting to do laundry on a cruise, but we will be spending several days at Universal before we leave so I'm sure I will need to do some halfway through. I stayed on the 9th deck and there was a laundry room a few doors down from me. There was one on the 3rd, 7th, 8th decks some were forward others were aft, or port or starboard it varies. There may be a couple more that I forgot about. It was $ 3.00 each for the washer & dryer. You can get change from guest services or casino. There are individual detergent packages to purchase (don't remember how much).I brought a couple single use liquid Tide packets. The iron and ironing board are also in the laundry. It gets really crowd on elegant night and near the end of the week. Have fun!:D

apey9995 Posted April 19, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 19, 2014 As everyone else has posted there are several... we used them twice on our 7-day. $3 each to wash and dry- you can cash in for a $10 for a roll of quarters at guest services. I think the powder soap was $1, but I'm not sure as we took a travel size bottle from home. Very convenient- but as someone else said, maybe go on a port day, because it was very crowded on elegant night with people using the ironing board.
