Afternoon before cruise in Cape Canaveral

Hi All - I expect to be checked into the Country Inns and Suites around 2:30-3:00 pm the day before our cruise. I'm looking for some suggestions on something to do to kill some time. I was thinking about heading over to the famous Fishlips I've heard so much about for a bite to eat and to watch the cruise ships leave...beyond that I don't really have any other ideas. Was hoping to get into town early enough to see the space center stuff, but travel arrangements did not work out.

Your plan to head over to Fishlips is a good one. Really gets you in the cruising mood!

I have the same question as the OP. I was going to post almost the exact same question

 

My sister and I - both in our mid to late 40's land at MCO next Thursday at 12:30. I am looking for something other than just dinner for the afternoon. We plan on eating at Grills for dinner.

 

Ideas -

 

I have done the Brevard Zoo (my 18 yo daughter loves their zipline course)

I am planning on an Airboat excursion after the cruise
