Westin, Seatle to Airport

We are staying at the Westin downtown and flying out at 10:00 a.m. on a Monday morning. What is the best way to get to the airport (taxi or rail transit) and approximately how long would our ride take. We have paid the airline for early bird check-in, so how soon should we arrive at the airport prior to our departure?

it's about a 25-35 minute drive to the airport. http://www.flatrateforhire.com will charge about $30. I'd be at the airport by 8:30am for a 10 flight.

If you walk to Westlake Center with your luggage 5th/Pine you can catch the LightRail, $3 for a 40 minute ride. There's a 7-10 minute walk thru the airport garage from the station so you need to be able to manage your luggage easily. It's covered and flat but it's still a walk.

There's also the airporter service run by Shuttle Express - https://www.shuttleexpress.com/downtown-airporter-taxi - and taxis from downtown to the airport have a flat $40 rate, and they'll be waiting at the Westin.
