Gradelady Posted May 12, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Has anyone booked Aqua Class on Deck 11 of the Millennium? We are on the portside and hoping we made a good choice. The aft cabins on Deck 11 are already booked for next year!
Sascol Posted May 12, 2014 #27 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Are the Aqua Class rooms on Deck 11 on the Millenium different from those on Deck 8 (or is it Deck 9?). I know they were added with the refit. They are newly added cabins as opposed to refurbished ones but other than that they are the same with the exception of the balcony covering. Deck 11 has little cover while most of deck 9 has a HUGE overhang. We prefer 11 but others may find positives in the ones on 9.
baldercash Posted May 12, 2014 #28 Share Posted May 12, 2014 We have done the aft and the port AC deck 11 on Millie the aft cabins are the best but it is good to be above the fray. They are A1 so more then the AC cabins on the lower deck but the location was amazing for us.
Windsailer Posted May 12, 2014 #29 Share Posted May 12, 2014 . Bangkok did our own thing and because of the troubles we came back to the ship the first day and went to Pattaya the second. Taxi to Bankok took us just over 2 hours to get there and hour and half to get back but was late at night, Ho Chi Minh and Hue used Smile tours - used them before on previous cruises - very good. Was there a shuttle at the port for Pattaya or did you take a taxi?
