Just booked the May 28th West Coast itinerary

I used the phone lines because I wanted to book a cat 3, and I was on hold for about 40 minutes. The suite prices weren't in the computer yet so I waitlisted.. While chatting with the reservationist, she told me there were 138 waiting calls and it had been that busy since the West Coast itinerary was announced today!

It only (LOL!) took me two hours to get through this am to book ours...the first hour the lines were so tied up I couldn't get through, the 2nd hour was spent on hold. I was also simulataneously trying to book on the agent's booking site, which kept crashing.

Finally got what we wanted though....now all we have to do is wait till next year and save some serious $$$!!!!

Do you have to book this with Disney? Is it any deals out there now?

My travel agent said she booked her daughter and family on the Magic (west coast) next year and it was $9,800! That seems high when you consider there is no air involved. They are in a balcony room, not a suite.

Yep, it looks like the prices are going up steadily. Disney has always used the "early booking system" to offer discounts to people who book sooner than later, but this is the first time I've seen the prices go up so fast! I booked the cat 4 for $4843 (2 adults) at around 2:30PM yesterday.

We booked for June 18 but that is father day weekend and my daugh can not take the kids that weekend they have to be with their father and by the time I booked June 25 the price wrnt up $500 but we are going to go with that. I let the TA do the work. I have to call her Mon to tell her to go ahead and book it and disney magic here we come.
