im going on a cruise in sept and ive just started walking ever day , thank you zipfit thingie :)

 

i would love to have a cruise buddy to help me loose weight and keep walking .plus i made myself a promise, that i would do a 10k at disney netx feb and im thinking to reward myself with a cruise afterwards.

 

if anyone is interest, im 52, gramma to 3 almost 4 and mom to 3. i weigh 183 cant seem to loose anymore and im a diabetic.

Jaxkai, I'm with you!! I'm Mary from Michigan, just booked a cruise with our good friends in 2016...yay! So excited and I told myself this cruise I would be skinny and I wouldn't be worried about how my clothes fit on me, or sad about how I look. I just want to enjoy the cruise and not worry about what I weigh.

There's a thread on here "Running to the ship". Find it and take a look. I love it. I find it very motivating to keep moving. I found a small, supportive community on this thread. I, too, am in my (late) 50's and walk for fitness.

I'm 51 and cruising January 2015. I've lost some weight, but want to lose 20 pounds. I walk A LOT. I am training for the breast cancer 3 day walk ~ 60 miles in 3 days. I have a fitbit and I am also on myfitnesspal. Would love a few friends to keep me accountable.

Me too. Support is important. I am in 50's with 4 kids and just became a grandma to my 4th this week !! I have lost 35 lbs and have another 20-25 to go. Seems like it won't come off and eating and walking the same. Gets frustrating and support from others would be great to know I am not in this alone !
