lilchopper68 Posted May 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Has anyone checked on the weather for next week? I'll be on the Conquest next week going to St Thomas, San Juan, etc. I looked on weather.com and I saw that there are supposed to be thunderstorms in St. Thomas Sun through Tuesday. Should we be worried???:confused::confused:

Just like in Florida in the summer it rains in the afternoon almost every day. Don't stress about it. You'll be fine 99% of time. Bill

Mysticks1 Posted May 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2014 It shows a possibility of Thunderstorms for the Bahamas next week too but that doesn't worry me yet. Those long range forecasts are not very accurate. It might just be a pop up type thunderstorm that they are predicting now. During the summertime here we pretty much have a percentage of rain listed everyday because of those pop-up storms. I guess the weatherman thinks it better to predict rain and it not rain. Nothing you can do about it anyway but pack an umbrella or those ponchos so that you are prepared just in case.
Ric-Flair Posted May 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2014 Seriously. This time of year you could cut and paste the same weather report (for the entire Caribbean) every single day . "Chance of Afternoon Thunder Showers"
