Laps on QE Deck

Does anyone know how many laps around the promenade deck equal 1 mile? And can one confirm that one can walk completely around the deck? Last time I was on the QV, and this was not possible. Thanks!

Cunard's FAQs say:

 

On Queen Mary 2, 3 laps of the Promenade deck is equal to 1.1 miles.

 

On Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria, 3 laps of the Promenade deck is equal to 0.9 miles.

Yes, on all three ships passengers can walk all the way around. There is also a little plaque on the bulkhead that states the number of laps equals a mile.

As others have said, yes... and here's the route...

 

Forward on the starboard side

 

Across the ship

 

Back along the port side

 

Not quite as uncluttered as the promenade on QM2 (but better than the sets of steep narrow stairs needed to complete a circuit on QE2).

 

Glad to read that the complete circuit is also open on QV, like you I found it wasn't when I was on board.
