Murphy&Bailey Posted May 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2014 We are going for the first time on the Caribbean Princess in 2 weeks. Do they serve lunch in one of the main dining rooms on the day we board like they do on the Emerald & Ruby Princess? If so which dining room? Thank you for your help. JF - retired RRT Posted May 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Look in the Patter when you take your carry-on to your cabin:) The crew will act like there is no lunch in the MDR if you ask, don't know if they are clueless or just don't want to help. smilz Posted May 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Is it a "full" menu or the short version like Royal has. No choice for app or desert
Colo Cruiser Posted May 7, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Is it a "full" menu or the short version like Royal has. No choice for app or desert We have always had a choice of appetizer/Dessert. All you have to do is ask.
ggprincess2004 Posted May 7, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) There are usually 3 appetizers, a pasta or 2, three entrees and at least three desserts. Appetizers include the shrimp and avocado plate, a salad, and a soup, might be a few more, pasta lately was a delicious ravioli, entrees include salmon, beef and a chicken dish, desserts have been the Gran Marnier soufflé, an apple tarte tatan, assorted ice creams...probably something else I cannot remember because our order centers on the shrimp and avocado, salmon and soufflé most of the time. smilz Posted May 8, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 8, 2014 We have always had a choice of appetizer/Dessert.All you have to do is ask. We did! Imagine our surprise when they flat out said "No. No other desert" Other passengers on Royal had the same experience. They even came out into the hallway to show us the menu and told us we would enjoy the lunch upstairs much better! Looking forward to a better experience on CB. Newest isn't always better! You are saying no "other" dessert. So there is "A" dessert?
