What to do in Freeport?

We took a van cab- $5 pp to Our Lucaya- beach, casino, and lots of shops.

Freeport is an industrial port- but Grand Bahama has alot to offer, so do an excursion.

We thought it was interesting to see an industrial port in the Caribbean- like real work going on!

Fortunately, the Terminal Area right at the ship offers lots more of interest to cruisers now than it once did. There's now a Senor Frogs as well as a variety of vendors. Good thing to keep in mind for a chilly rainy day. :)

If you want to go to a beach, you'll need to take a taxi.

i love freeport, i think now its 20.00 for the use of the hotels stuff. you can leave and come back, they have 7 pools, great beach and there are things to do at the beach. if ocean motion sports is still there you will see a huge list of things they offer, from paddle board riding, banana boat rides to parasailing, plus good food good shopping and really good drinks :)

Did you enjoy Our Lucaya? Was there any restaurants near by?
