jemenybostons@verizon.net Posted May 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Does anyone know why there is a weight limit for the dolphin swim? a lot of men weigh more than 225lbs as does my husband and he was really looking forward to this tour in Tortola. blue_water Posted May 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) I would assume that for any physical interaction like being pulled or especially pushed above the surface there has to be a limit to protect the dolphins. Try contacting them directly to better understand the reasons and whether your husband can take part in a limited option. jemenybostons@verizon.net Posted August 21, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I decided to do the Sea Lion Swim at Coral World in St. Thomas since the ship itinerary changed but Dolphin Discovery has the dolphin swim in Tortola. I contacted them and they stated that they do not have a weight limit so not sure why Royal Caribbean does have one. If you are interested in booking the dolphin swim directly here is the link. http://www.**********************
