wait list for main dining room??

Hello. I was put on a wait list for the 830 dinner seating and confirmed for celebrity select dining.. This is the first time this has ever happened. We really like having the same waiter every night and also don't want to have to wait on line for a table in the main dining room.. I also didn't want to have to pre pay my tips because we usually use our OBC to pay for some or all of the tips. I was also wondering, if you got cleared, how long before departure and can I have the pre paid tips removed so I can use my obc to pay for them once I am onboard? Thank you!
