jewelhound Posted April 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2004 We are planning a trip to Aruba next year. We plan to spend some time in the casinos there. Do the casinos offer any free drinks at all? Milissa Till we sail the Navigator
glentally Posted April 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2004 yes, we had a hard time finding someone on the beach resorts to get a drink, the place was empty. We didn't like being in an empty casino and having to look for a waitress so we went downtown to that casino and found it hopping and very freindly people. Plus I won more than I ever did in blackjack. It's a short walk back to the boat from there. You can bet I'll be there in 300 some odd days CCL Fantasty - 85 CCL Destiny - 99 NCL Sky - 00 CCL Destiny - 01 NCL Star - 02 CCL Inspiration - 03 vegas trip- can I do this on a cruise board? greatnitz Posted May 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2004 Do all casinos offer free drinks or are they they hit and miss? Also, will I have a hard time finding $5 blackjack tables? jeanied Posted July 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2004 The casinos we went to did have waitresses walking around with complimentary drinks. However, if you don't tip them, they'll stop coming around.
StellaRN Posted August 27, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2004 There are 2 casinos in town. You can walk from the cruise ship dock. The Crystal Casino and the Seaport Casino. I like the Crystal Casino better. They do serve free drinks. My husband has never had a problem finding a $5 dollar table during the day. The casinos are quiet during the day most people are at the beach. At night they can get crowded. Most of the high rise hotels have casinos you can go by cab to one then walk from one to the other. The other option is the Alahambra Casino. This is just past the town in the area of the Divi Divi resort. Cab ride also. This is newer with current slots and alot of tables no problem getting a $5 dollar table here. Actually won $1500 this past may on the slots. The beachs are nice so I try not to gamble during the day. StellaRN
