The orange image on the whale tail, isn't it the logo for Carnival Corps. Ibero line?

Yes. She just got out of drydock in preparation for her transformation into Costa Celebration, but I believe she will continue operating as the Ibero Grand Celebration for the rest of this summer season.

We sailed her on our first cruise back in 2001.... can't believe that hunk of junk is still around! I hope they have completely revamped her. Even still, we had one heck of a time and have been hooked ever sense.

Well, my understanding is that they put $ six million into her over this month's dry dock. They will also need to do at least a little more after this season to finish the re branding to Costa.

She may not have all the latest goodies, but from what I could see, "hunk of junk" is the last label she deserves.

The Splendor is a Costa Fortuna class. It was built for Costa and while being built, Costa realized it could not support the ship, so they stuck a Carnival funnel on it.

So a lot of them seem to be interchangeable indeed.

It's actually a Concordia class vessel, which is an improved Destiny class vessel.
