Let's work backwards:

 

11:00-At gate

9:00-At YVR curb, check bags, clear security, clear US CBP

8:30-In taxi to YVR

7:50-Off of ship, pick up bags, clear Canada customs, stand in taxi line

 

I would book at flight after 1pm. To even try this you would need to be first of the ship dragging your bags.

 

Why stress on your last day?
