Tipping on a Back to Back

We tip the room steward the first day because we request lounge chairs, and extra at the end of the cruise. But we've never before done a back to back. How would you handle that situation?

We'd appreciate your suggestions.

I would think that you would want to tip per cruise. There might be the posibility of your servers or room stewards not being on the second cruise.

 

Of course with Princess it is automatically deducted so there shouldn't be anything to worry about other then tipping for something above and beyond the call of duty.

waltd is correct. Treat as indivdual cruises, leave the tips in place and tip extra, if you want to, at the end of the first and at the end of the second cruise.

We have taken many b2b cruises. The autotip is taken out per day as usual. Our bill rolls over to the next cruise. ( i.e. if you had SBC and didn't use it all, the credit just rolls over.). Your credit card is not changed until you leave the ship. If we tip extra, we tip at the end. We would only tip at the end of the first cruise if we are changing tables/cabins. We usually tip our cabin steward extra (a little) up front, because as Elite members, there are more things for him to attend to.
