Summit during Bermuda Holiday Cup Race

Summit during Bermuda Holiday Cup Race...has anyone cruised during the holiday? Will shops be closed, etc.? Thanks!

Shops are usually closed. Sailed twice during those days.

Cup Match is over a long weekend...won't affect the 2 full days the Summit is in Bermuda (Wed-Thurs).

The Cup Match games are played on Thursday and Friday, so it does effect the Summit's visit.

 

We were on the cup match cruise last year at the end of July. We did our touring on Wednesday and everything was open. It was interesting to watch the tents pop up everywhere as the day went on. On Thursday, we started at Warwick Long Bay and worked our way down to Horseshoe Bay. Horseshoe was absolutely packed with people.
