Does anyone know if the chair rental, concession and porta potty are still there this season? The last picture on their Facebook page was from September 2013. We went last year and it was very pretty and close to the dockyard for the departure day. We are on the Summit, June 1 and were planning to spend some time there is

No. Black Bay Beach is just a little farther walk down the road past "glass beach". They are close to each other, but very different.

 

Here is a map. Black Bay is at the far left, cropped to "lack Bay".

well I got confused because Black Bay Beach advertises itself as the glass beach close to the dockyard...and also forbids collection of sea glass like "the other" sea glass beach does...

 

I guess the restriction comes from WEDCO who includes those beaches...
