HammockDreamer Posted May 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2014 We just completed our 1st cruise on the Allure - loved cruising, but want to try a smaller ship. While on board we booked stateroom 7110 on the Brilliance - it is an accessible room. The crew member working with us left much to be desired - never even said "thank you". . .but my big question is that we will once again be sailing as a party of three (myself, my husband with his mobility scooter and our adult daughter).............does this cabin only accommodate 2 people? I would appreciate any clarification. TIA

Justmekaren918 Posted May 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 27, 2014 It is clearly a handicap cabin, but it is confusing on sleeping arrangements. You will love the ship. You have to make sure to take the Ocean facing elevators to dinner or for that matter anytime. Have a great cruise.
HammockDreamer Posted May 27, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted May 27, 2014 It is now my understanding that a roll-away would be provided for our adult daughter - she's 5'9" - is this something to even consider or do we look for another sailing? Generally speaking most E1 and E3 Accessible cabins cabin do not have as of sofa beds and or pullman beds. This is the case on the Brilliance. Therefore the only way to accommodate a 3 person is to have a roll-away bed. There is room enough in the cabin to accommodate a roll-away bed and it can be position to minimize any issue with using mobility aids when it's in use. Not in use the roll-away and be folded and back again the wall.

Also, how many chairs does the balcony accommodate? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Forums mobile app

Also, how many chairs does the balcony accommodate? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Forums mobile app There should be small love seat size sofa. There are 2 balcony chairs. If your husband has to use the scooter out on the balcony than no other chairs will fit as the scooter needs space to maneuver. If your husband can walk out onto the balcony with assistance than another chair will fit.
