First FTTF!

So is FTTF per person or per cabin? When I looked under the excursion tab it said per person but I see posters saying per cabin. There's some open for our sailing and I wanna hurry and snatch them up! LoL

The PPs are correct: it is per cabin. It actually states this on the webpage where you purchase it (bold and red are my additions):):

Notes

The Faster to the Fun price is not Per Person as listed. The $49.95 price covers all occupants of the cabin so only 1 guest needs to purchase but all occupants receive the benefits.

Please note, there is no specific "set" time, nor a specific arrival time required... once clearance is received from Customs to start boarding, Faster to the Fun guests will board after our VIFP Club Platinum & Diamond Guests.

Space is Limited.

After purchasing Faster to the Fun package, please remember to re-print your boarding documents so Faster to Fun reflects on your documents. Have FUN!

I don't think anyone has answered the question about how you know how many FTTF 's are available but if you act like you want to book it, once you put it in your cart, but before you pay for it, it shows how many are left.

You just spent $50 unnecesarily.

Nice to have an opinion - thanks for sharing yours. Nothing like trying to damper someone's excitement.

For the OP - good for you. Thankfully, I finally made platinum; however, prior to that, we bought the FTTF for 2 cabins on the Dream & LOVED it. With 2 people in the cabin, the $25 I paid for my portion was much more valuable than the 3 drinks it would have bought onboard.

$100 down the drain.

OK, we get it. You don't like FTTF. Most people do. I haven't read one post on here yet where someone bought it and didn't like it.

I think the Cheers package is a waste of money for me but I don't tell other people not to buy it just because it's not worth it to me.

Using my first FTTF in Jan on the Splendor. Could you tell me exactly how to use the FTTF for tendering into port. Would I go to guest services in the AM? To the place they are giving out tender tickets or go directly to where they are tendering and tell them there? Thanks.:)

After getting VIP boarding when we were in a grand suite I knew I wouldn't want to go back to waiting in line. We used FTTF twice until DW made Platinum and loved it. I made Platinum as well last year and still like FTTF because it got me early room access and luggage delivery.

Can depend by ship but usually if you want to be in the first tender group, you meet usually in the main theatre along with all the other people with excursions offered through Carnival, platinum, diamonds, etc. Anytime after that, usually just go to Guest Services and they will have someone escort you to the front of the line.

I would not worry about this too much. Cruise directors tend to explain the tendering process over 1,000 times during a cruise between the travel seminar, the morning show, announcements, etc.

Just got back from our cruise and for tendering, we got to the ocean plaza around 630 to eat the continental breakfast and were on the very first tender to the island shortly after 7. No faster to the fun necessary, in fact, I don't really know who was using it or not, didn't see anyone show any badge to get on before me, we all just got on.

For boarding, we had zone 7, normal boarding. We were called a total of 12 minutes later than the diamond, plat, and FTF. Onboard by around 1145. We went straight up to cochina del capitano, ate lunch, and our rooms were available right after lunch.

For debark, I saw FTF people scrambling all over trying to figure out how to priority debark with the self assist, seemed like a nightmare to figure out. Im pretty sure there were plenty of FTF people behind me in debarking on sunday.

In 6 cruises I have used guest services once, and I was able to walk right up without a wait.

I personally don't really understand the value. Obviously others do, its constantly sold out.

Can't argue with this post- these are my thoughts exactly. I've had it 3 times now and will get it every time it is available. I thought having it for the Pride was going to be a waste of money but just the embarkation part of it was worth it. I also love dropping off the bags, having the cabin ready and the other perks....:)

Was today the final payment day, or did you pay early? I have read that the # of FTTFs sold is dependent on how many Diamond and Platinum pax are booked. So perhaps Carnival will open up more FTTF slots once final payment day passes, and they get a clearer picture of that number.

I've been checking every day since we booked. We changed from the Miracle where we had booked FTTF to Magic and none were available when we switched. Our final payment was a week ago and still nothing available. My son is autistic and I hope we can end up getting it so we don't have to wait as long to board. Just hoping that part doesn't cause a lot of extra stress for him if I can't manage to get it.
