bhealy Posted May 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2014 (edited) We will be booking a cruise shortly on the Epic. I can't decide between an aft. balcony and a mini suite. We are trying to book close to a studio cabin on deck 11 or 12. The mini suite is $100 more pp. What do you think? Winnigirl Posted May 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2014 We had the same decision on the weekend. I went back and forth about a hundred times. In the end we opted for the aft-balcony. It just seemed a little more unique and it' s something I always wanted to try. The only thing the mini-suite had was a bit more room and perhaps a bathtub - but a typical balcony. We spend a lot of time on our balcony and through reading a lot of advice here we got one of the cabins with the larger end balconies - 12310. Coincidentally our daughter booked a studio, which is just steps away from us - 12571.
sverigecruiser Posted May 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2014 If the mini suite has sideview, I should prefer the mini suite. (I should not cruise on the Epic without a real suite but between the options you mention, I should pick the mini suite.)
bhealy Posted May 29, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted May 29, 2014 I would love to get a two bedroom suite, but right now the price about 2.5x more than a studio and mini. I don't think it is worth it.
medicalma'am Posted May 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2014 Basically the choice is: do you want more space in the room, or on the balcony?
