Thanks for your review. I couldn't agree more about Le cirque night in the Pinnicle. We too have eaten at the restaurant in NYC and find the dinner on the ship to be quite enjoyable - one of my favorites

Can anyone comment on the frequency of the appearance of these towel animals? On our first cruise (on Carnival, 10 years ago), we had heard tales of towel animals and looked forward to them. We never saw a single creature on our 4-day trip :(

 

We had one every night on our 14 night Singapore to Hong Kong cruise on the Volendam. This fantastic review is bringing back lovely memories of those cute animals and the lovely stewards who made them for us each night.:)

A really enjoyable review - thanks so much for taking the time to post. Now honestly, I can't believe that nobody has commented on THAT particular photograph of the - well, what can we call it? a "pelt" perhaps? A sporan for a naked Scotsman? Somewhere to hide your passport and credit card when in foreign ports? Oh goodness, that was funny.
