Beaferd Posted May 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2014 We will be in Georgetown in October this year and would like to do something other than water sports, Hell or the turtle farm. Been there done that. I have read about the botanical gardens, Pedro's St. James and Pedro Bluffs. Has anyone done this type of tour and if so was it a good one along with who you used. Thanks in advance for your help.
drew sailbum Posted May 31, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2014 Organized tours to such destinations for the cruise ship crowds are rare but those sites are well worth the visit. You can easily rent a car and cover the locations yourself. IIRC, you can even buy a discounted ticket that offers admission to both these eastern district sites. Should be available at the ticket office at Pedro or the Botanic Park. I think they still offer it, though its been a few years since I bought them for visiting relatives. Beaferd Posted June 1, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted June 1, 2014 Thanks for the information. Am a little concerned about renting a car there.

Thanks in advance for your help. A few years ago we enjoyed a tour with Cayman Safari http://www.caymansafari.com/cayman-adventures. I think the tour may take a slightly different route now but includes all the places that you mentioned.
