TrumpyNor Posted June 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2014 It is a certain (fixed) percentage of the cruise price. Meaning that the more expensive the cruise the more the TA gets in commission.
smeyer418 Posted June 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2014 How much commission do travel agents make off every cruise they book? Is it by room category or a one set price? its about 10% of the base fare(the fare less non-commission-able fare and taxes. they might get a bonus for high volume of certain other additions. This is for NCL. Other cruise lines occasionally pay a higher percentage.
