Starbucks on Oasis

A few questions. I know you can use your gold card on board. If you have the phone app can you use that if phone is in airplane mode? If you get to 12 stars can you get a free drink? Since we will have phone off cell network can the employees tell how many stars you have? I guess best to use only one card if two of us to maximize points. We cruise in late October. From past experience will they have pumpkin spice lattes? DH loves those. Do they have a city mug for RC? We collect those. Thanks

You will need the data plan to get credit for the stars. I used my gold card on Allure & it was in real time. It deducted the amount immediately.

Yes, you can use the card, but only on Oasis and Allure.

Instead of using Starbucks phone app (and having to use data), can you just use the Passbook version of your Starbuck's card (which is just a QR code version of your card that they scan)? I have no idea where my actual card is at since I always use my iPhone at Starbucks.
