I doubt there are buses but I am not sure. It was no problem taking the Peoplemover as long as your suitcases have wheels. There is an inexpensive bus from Piazzale Roma direct to the airport that runs frequently.

Our last cruise from Venice we took the People Mover. When we got off, HAL had a bus to take us to the ship. We could have walked it but the ship was probably 1/4 mile away.
