Wine-O Posted June 9, 2014 #26 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Happening now on Constellation. Very easy to do and much appreciated. Should be ready for a fleet wide rollout. We were on Constellation last month. It was very easy to log on/off from your stateroom with no coupon. Just got off Summit yesterday. Still using the coupons and having to go to the iLounge to set up account. IT guy said they will be rolling out the new system on the S-Class ships first, once all the kinks are worked out. Personally, I prefer the old system. I could log on, send/receive e-mail with my MS Outlook, and if I was fast enough, would not utilize any minutes. Checked e-mail several times a day. Under the new system, this is not possible. It seems that I used 2 minutes every time I logged on to send/receive e-mail and then logged off. BosoxI Posted June 10, 2014 #27 Share Posted June 10, 2014 I get that, in your view, the only good perk is the internet minutes. However, some of us rather enjoy the coffees and teas at Bacio and the ability to send out smaller amounts of laundry more often so the clothes are not all smashed into one bag. My guess is that people have their own opinions as to which perks are valuable to them. I always assume that when someone writes a comment as the poster did, it is his own opinion being stated. Therefore, it is unnecessary to write "in my view" or "IMHO" or whatever. This is a very minor point, I admit.:p I happen to agree with both of you; the internet minutes and the coffees are the best perks, the laundry not so much except on longer cruises.
