Summit - Bermuda

Depends on how the port authority arranges the ships. There seems to be a schedule.

There was a post in our Summit rollcall today with links to a Harbor webcam in Bermuda. The Port side of the ship looks over the docks, the starboard over the harbor. (this week at least)

I asked the Captain on our 2012 trip to Bermuda. He told me it all depended upon what maintenance he needed to do. This trip we docked on the starboard side because he needed to do maintenance on the lifeboats and davits on the port side, i.e. lower them into the water, etc.

BTW, in Bayonne, Summit seems to always dock on the starboard side. Must be the best side to off and on load luggage and take on stores.

Can anyone suggest what side of the ship (Port or Starboard) to book so that when we are in dock (3 days) we will have a nice view of the island? We typically book a level 2B cabin -deck 6/7.

It has been the port side at the Royal Dockyard for the past 5 cruises
