On every cruise I've ever been on there has been a table cloth and linens and my courses were served to me and the table cleared. I will politely request the same on my Volendam cruise.

:D :) We just came off the Summit. Our breakfast on our terrace had white and pink linens and fresh orchids on the table. I would think HAL would have the same level of service.

Wow -- that does sound really great :) It sounds like you really "lucked out" compared to most people's experiences. Nice start to the day...
