newbie3815 Posted June 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2014 My husband and I are thinking about doing a Carnival Live Styx cruise at the end of September. Would love to hear input from anyone that has been on one. Wondering if the 100.00 tickets are worth it.
jaxkai Posted June 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2014 you get to sit up close, you get a meet and greet and a signed photo, i would say if you could afford it you will never be that close to them again.... go for it
2Shoes2Go Posted June 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2014 The VIP tickets for Styx on Fascination, Sept. 27, are sold out. They have been for about a month, much to our disappointment. The general admission are still available, however. They are $20, and not bad. Just get in line early and avoid the poles in the lounge.
PSRCPA Posted June 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2014 We did VIP on Sensation with Foreigner.....it was fabulous!! Great meet n greet, we stood right in front of the stage and no one said we couldn't. We loved it, worth the $100 in my opinion. 2Shoes2Go Posted June 13, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2014 We did Chicago on Paradise and Kansas on Sensation. It got a little tense down front at Chicago when some of the VIP rows decided to stand and blocked those sitting behind them. A few were quite unhappy. In contrast, VIP for Kansas, much more reserved audience. In fact, some left before the encore, thinking the concert was over. All in all, not sure the extra cost for VIP is worth it, to us. The Chicago VIP tix were $150 each. I think about a third of the lower level were reserved for VIP and sight lines were not very good. The general admission were only $20 each. Third time I have seen Chicago in concert. They just didn't sound as good as I remember....
