the_princess Posted June 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2014 We are sailing to Wardemunde with MSC in August and wanted to do a tour, but all the tours says, that if the ship can't provide a guide in English, the tour will be in German... Has anyone any experience with this? We don't want to book something in English and end up in a German group.
Sauer-kraut Posted June 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Where were you planning on going for that tour? Warnemunde is very easy to DIY, as well as going to Schwerin, Rostock and Wismar. You can do the Molli Steam Train and so much more! No need to go through the cruise line.
the_princess Posted June 14, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted June 14, 2014 We were talking about going to Schwerin... Maybe we should look into doing it our self :-)
Travelanni Posted June 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2014 We were talking about going to Schwerin... Maybe we should look into doing it our self :-) This is a very easy DIY excursion. For details on how to get there and back plus directions for the short walk from the station into the old town please see the Schwerin page on the web site below. There are also a couple of useful web sites to visit for general information on Schwerin. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Happy cruising, :) Anni www.travelanni.webs.com
the_princess Posted June 14, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Danke Anni, I'll have a look at it... If it's that easy, we'll just do in ourself. I think the ship excursions are a bit expensive.
