Has anybody bought either of these on board packages? They're a bit pricey but I keep thinking about them. Is it worth the money? Thanks for any thoughts or advice!

It appears you have pasted the same package twice with two different prices??

To answer your question: Unless you love the bathrobes, I do not think it's worth it. You can order many things ala carte and not spend that much. IIRC the robes are $100 for the pair.

Have a great cruise.

Cheers!

Whoops.. thanks for catching that. It doesn't look like I can go back and re edit my post. This is the real romantic package:

We did the Just For Us package some years ago. We were given very heavy weight terry cloth toweling robes ( not the waffle ones ) and a few things I don't see on your list. We thought it was worth it then. Might not be now.

We have done it. Some of the items are duplicate if you have a suite and I had hoped for a nicer presentation....for me we do the same but a la carte and that way I can pace when "gifts" are delivered to our room...price wise it is fair.

Just one comment. We did the package (okay, ten years ago before anytime dining was available) and when we got onboard, we checked out the table listed on our card. It was for four people. We went to the maître 'd and asked him about it. He admitted that there was another couple sitting with us, and we said we had the package where we were guaranteed a table for two. He assigned us to another table for just the two of us.

So check your table size if you've paid for a table for two before your first dinner to make sure you've got a two top. But I'm not sure how this works if you've got anytime dining.

Our bathrobes were waffle but not lightweight ones. To be honest we gave them away as Christmas gifts when we got back home. And just this past year one of the recipients passed away, and while going through her clothes we found the bathrobe still in its wrapping. So that's how I know what it looked like!
