ready2goPT Posted June 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Does anyone know if there are tours that can be arranged on shore in Sydney Nova Scotia. The cruise line tours don't seem that great and are very expensive. Are there taxis/vans waiting to take groups around?
maryann ns Posted June 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2014 There will be taxis, but there may not be enough to meet demand; http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1696049 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1668175 http://www.tomsportguides.com/ There are only a couple private tour operators and they are in high demand. Renting a car is a very practical thing to do.

We were looking of just doing that, renting a car that is, but, we are there on a Sunday and according to the car rental websites they are all closed on Sundays. As a NS native do you know if this is correct. Theo
